U-Talks

U-Talks are a combination of sharing by celebrity guests and experiential learning to inspire local secondary school students with positive energy and love.

Programme Structure

Preliminary preparation	Before the talks, our team will communicate with school and celebrity guests on the aims of the talks to maximize the benefits brought to students. An exercise of “If I Were Him/Her” is organized before the talk to build students understanding on the guests.
Sharing	Celebrity guests are invited to share their experience on how to overcome difficulties, to be followed up by experiential activities and interaction between guests and students.
Follow up	A survey is conducted after each U-Talk to evaluate the effectiveness. Photos and videos of the talks are uploaded to social media of U-Hearts for the wider audience. U-Trainings, our all-round leadership training, will be tailormade for different schools if required

Past Experience

Since 2016, over 4,500 students and teachers have participated in our 13 U-Talks, the talks are well-received by schools and students.

In 2019, we co-organized two We-Sharing Talks at schools with Lea Communications and Amity Foundation, in which local stand-up comedian Mr Vivek Ashok Mahbubani (Ah V) shared his experience on how to overcome difficulties.
